Validity
The following conditions apply to the continuing education courses of the Centre of Learning and Teaching in Higher Education of the University of St.Gallen (HDZ-HSG), Switzerland. If special conditions also apply to individual courses, these are published in the corresponding announcements. For customised offers, the respective offers are authoritative.
Application
Course applications must be made using the online form on the HDZ website and are binding. By registering, participants accept the applicable conditions. Upon receipt of registration, participants will either receive a confirmation of registration by e-mail or information that they will be placed on the waiting list (see course places).
Course seats
The number of places is limited. The HDZ sets a number of participants for each programme, which can be adjusted if necessary. Registrations are considered and confirmed upon receipt. A waiting list is kept for fully booked courses.
Implementation and programme changes
If there are too few registrations, a course may be cancelled or postponed. If any course fee has already been paid (see participation fee), this will be refunded in full. The HDZ reserves the right to change the programme.
Participation fees
The University of St.Gallen will finance the courses for persons who are employed or have a teaching assignment at the University of St.Gallen. Proof must be provided on request. The employment relationship at the time of the course is decisive. External participants will be charged CHF 180.00 for a half-day course (up to 4 hours) and CHF 300.00 for a full-day course (4 hours or more).
Breaks and lunch are not included and are not provided.
